We spend long amounts of time teaching children to respect others, to not sink to this level. The government is the highest level of authority in our country, and while kids may not exactly look to them for inspiration, or for a role model, they are still there. Their attack ads are being broadcast on national television, and the only message I have ever gotten from them is "I am too afraid of losing to this guy, so I am going to destroy his image in front of the country based on one little tiny thing he said 30 years ago." It is the wrong way to run a campaign, and it shows the population that they are not prepared to run a country, but rather they are ready to go back and fight it out on the playground. Maybe they should think about what they are doing before they do it.

Bullying
I saw this cartoon recently on Facebook, and the more I thought about it, the truer it seems.
