I have never been more excited than I am at this very moment. Firstly the World Curling Championships for mixed doubles and senior mens/womens are coming to Fredericton. Actually they are already here. Games start tomorrow morning at 8:30. Why is this so exciting? Firstly, it is the biggest WCF (World Curling Federation) tournament to be held EVER! Yeah, you read that right, not in Atlantic Canada or some foolish thing like that. The biggest EVER, in the world, Fredericton is hosting THE BIGGEST CURLING EVENT IN THE WORLD!!! See, excitement.
On top of that I just got a crazy exciting email. It was through Young Canada Works, asking me to apply for a job that would involve moving to Ottawa, work with a track program, and para sport athletes. I have no idea what I would do if I got it. It would be ridiculous. I mean I don't know if I would get it, or if I would be able to find somewhere to live, but I would die of excitement, like actually die. How great would this be for an experience? It pays a pretty penny too. My only issue is the fact it is in Ontario. I've actually been sitting here shaking with excitement for the past two hours. It would be an ideal summer job, perfect time frame, a new adventure, everything I could possibly want.
Now, I just need to figure out how to respond to this email, and then get ready for tomorrow, bright and early at the rink, and study for all those exams coming up. What a great day this has been :)
Until next time,
Britt
p.s. my sincerest apologies for all the grammatical errors... I'm a little too excited and a little too caffeinated :)
